Excursion To  Famous Meteora & Metsovo EVERY WEDNESDAY

 07:00 Departure from Parga at 11.15 and crossing the beautiful mountain range of Pindos and After a scenic drive,you will take a good look at these half natural half made wonders.Finaly we reach our destination, Meteora. Deep in mainland Greece it's a group of medieval monasteries each one balanced precariously on rock pinnacles rising up from plain. Six of the monasteries remain today. Of these six, four were inhabited by men, and two by women. Each monastery has fewer than 10 inhabitants. We visit the Monastery of  Grand Meteoro and we  take photos of Saint Stephan Monastery. You will concentrate on the biggest, the  Grand Meteoro perchead 660 meters up. 13.15 After finishing our visits to the monasteries, we stop for  lunch at Kalambaka for 1 hour (LUNCH IS INCLUDING IN THE PRICE).At aproxematelly 14.30., we depart form Kalambaka and we go to visit the picturesque,Traditional and well known, Metsovo(where we will saty  just a bit more than one Hour).Metsovo is a mountainous town north of Ioannina at an altitude of 1.160 m. The town is famous for its local wine and cheeses(Metsovone&Metsovela).In Metsovo, you can visit the Folklore Museum.Averoff,ArtGallery,operating,since 1988 .At 17.30  from Metsovo and on 19:00 we arrive in Parga The timetable is indicative may be deviation till 30’ (not in departure time).
